Everyone loves the jeweled  stained glass spiders! Try placing my jeweled spider suncatcher on a houseplant leaf, the corner of a lamp shade, perched on a window sill or suspended from the top of a window frame.  The German beveled jewel used in the body has crisp facets which captures the light from all angles and creates nice depth. You can choose from three jewel-toned colours for the spiders oval body: ruby, sapphire or diamond. 

The spiders legs are created by twisting two strands of copper wire together, hand sculpting each shape, trimming them to length and positioning a skillfully dropped oval solder pearl on each tip prior to soldering all the legs and head onto the jewel in their specific place. Each leg is then bent to shape to elevate the spider so it stands on its legs for light to reflect though even if it is placed on a surface.

Materials: One 20mm x 25mm polished oval German faceted glass jewel, copper foil, copper wire, translucent monofilament,  black patina, polishing wax, **gift box
