GARDEN FRIENDS

Think back to what it was that got you hooked on a passion... I've been a gardener my whole life and the journey started with my Dad when I was a young girl. Mind you I may not have always felt back then the joy and satisfaction I do today, particularly when lifting potatoes during wet and mucky falls.  It was though, through watching my father tend his flowers and vegetables, that I became fascinated with the stages of growth and challenges that were usually overcome with perseverance and dedication.  That example served me well in many areas of life. Today I find the seasonal routine of pouring over seed selections and deciding what new to try during the middle of a snow storm in January, as enjoyable as sitting on my garden bench mid July watching all my garden friends do their work ensuring my labour is rewarded.

Pollinators and beneficial insects are key to the success of feeding our world and it is gratifying to know my yard is a friendly environment for them.  My "Garden Friends" Collection is a tribute to these often unsung hero's who if you slow down, sit and observe, will treat you to an in person National Geographic one of a kind show just for you! They may be small, but their appearance is deceiving when you think of the impact and power they have.  Anyone of them would be a welcome addition to your home as a person symbol representing the power and impact we all can have...take a look and see which one appeals to you...
